Ardwell kirk session

A Church of Scotland quoad sacra parish. It sat within the presbytery of Wigtown and Stranraer. It began in an iron church in Stoneykirk parish, in which services were held from 1881. The parish of Ardwell was disjoined from that of Stoneykirk in 1902 and erected quoad sacra, although the kirk session records include minutes and communicants' rolls from the mid-eighteenth century.
