Stichill kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Kelso, later of Jedburgh and Kelso, later of Jedburgh, and the synod of Merse and Teviotdale. Prior to the Reformation, the church of Stichill belonged to the Priory of Coldingham and the kirk session records ministry from 1567. Prior to 1611 Stichill was united with the parish of Hume under the name of Stichill and Hume.
