St Quivox kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Ayr and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr. It was originally known as Sanchar, or Sanchar-in-Kyle, but later was usually referred to by its dedication as St Kevoc's, corrupted to St Quivox.
