A parish in the county of Fife until 1895. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). In 1891 the Boundary Commissioners altered the parish boundaries. In 1895 the parish combined with the parish of St Andrews to form the united civil parish of St Andrews and St Leonards.
