South Ronaldsay kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Kirkwall and the synod of Orkney. It originated as a pre-Reformation parish. In the sixteenth century it absorbed the parishes of St Mary's and Burray, but they were disjoined separately quoad sacra in the late nineteenth century. By the early twentieth century it was known as South Ronaldsay St Peter's.
