Small Isles kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Skye and the synod of Glenelg. The Small Isles kirk session comprises the ancient parishes of Eigg and Canna, which were united together, along with Strathswordale, in the sixteenth century, Strathswordale however was severed from Eigg and Cana by the Court of Teinds in 1720.
