SCOTTISH CABINET : 3RD ADMINISTRATION

The Scottish Cabinet is the group of Ministers who are collectively responsible for Scottish Government policy. The Scottish Cabinet was created following devolution of powers to the Scottish Parliament in 1999, and the creation of the Scottish Executive. The 3rd Administration refers to the Scottish National Party (SNP) minority Scottish Government, which was elected at the third Scottish Parliament election on 3 May 2007. The Scottish Executive was renamed the Scottish Government in 2007.
