SCOTTISH CABINET : 2ND ADMINISTRATION : MINISTER FOR JUSTICE

The position of Minister for Health and Community Care was created in 1999. Following the 2007 election the position was retitled Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing. Following the 2011 election the position was retitled Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Cities Strategy. Following the 2016 election the position was retitled Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport. In 2021 the post was retitled Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care. The 2nd Administration refers to the Labour/Liberal Democrat coalition Scottish Executive which was elected at the second Scottish Parliament election on 1 May 2003.
