SCOTTISH CABINET : 2ND ADMINISTRATION

The Scottish Cabinet is the group of Ministers who are collectively responsible for Scottish Government policy. The Scottish Cabinet was created following devolution of powers to the Scottish Parliament in 1999, and the creation of the Scottish Executive. The 2nd Administration refers to the Labour/Liberal Democrat coalition Scottish Executive which was elected at the second Scottish Parliament election on 1 May 2003. The Scottish Executive was renamed the Scottish Government in 2007.
