Rothesay Free, United Free kirk session
A secession church court. It began as a Free Church in 1843, based on the congregation of Rothesay Gaelic Chapel. The congregation passed to the United Free Church as Rothesay Chapelhill in 1900. It then passed to the Church of Scotland in 1929, and in 1931 the name of the congregation was changed to Rothesay St James's. In 1938 Rothesay St James's was joined with the charge of Rothesay Trinity and known as Rothesay Trinity. A further union followed in 1979 with Rothesay West.
