Helensburgh - West Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It began as an Old Light Burgher congregation in the early 1820s. It joined the Church of Scotland in 1839, and passed to the Free Church in 1843. The congregation then passed to the United Free Church in 1900 and to the Church of Scotland again, as Helensburgh St Andrew's, in 1929. Helensburgh Old and St Andrew's was formed by the union of Helensburgh Old and Helensburgh St Andrew's in 1956.
