Petty kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Inverness and the synod of Moray. The church of Petty, was dedicated to St Columba. Petty was united with the parish of Brachollie in about 1500 but the name of Brachollie was later dropped. Ministry of the parish is recorded from 1580.Records available
