Penpont kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Penpont, later of Dumfries, and the synod of Dumfries. Prior to the Reformation the charge of Penpont was a vicarage and the church of Penpont belonged to the Abbey of Holyrood. Ministry of the session is recorded from 1567.
