Penpont Reformed Presbyterian kirk session
A secession church court. It began as a Reformed Presbyterian congregation in 1796. It was known locally as Scaurbridge. The congregation passed to the Free Church, as Penpont - West, in 1876, then to the United Free Church in 1900. It united with Burnhead as Scaurbridge and Burnhead in 1911, and passed with that name to the Church of Scotland in 1929.
