Kirkurd Free, United Free kirk session
A secession church court. It originated as a Free Church in 1843. The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1900, and to the Church of Scotland, as Blyth Bridge, in 1929. The charge was reduced in status during the preceding year and in 1935 the congregation of Blyth Bridge was united with that of Kirkurd parish church.
