Parton kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Kirkcudbright, from 1976 of Dumfries and Kirkcudbright, and the synod of Galloway. The church of Parton which was rebuilt in 1534 and again in 1834, held a dedication to St Inan and the session records ministry from 1564.
