Oxnam kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Jedburgh, later of Jedburgh and Kelso and presently of Jedburgh, and the synod of Merse and Teviotdale. Prior to the reformation the Parish of Oxnam belonged to the Abbey of Jedburgh and the session records ministry from 1574. Part of the parish was removed in 1855 to form the quoad sacra parish of Edgerston.
