Ormiston (Pathhead and Ormiston) Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It began as a Free Church in 1843. It was united with Pathhead Free Church in 1866. The united charge was briefly reduced to a station in 1874, but in 1875 Ormiston was sanctioned and Pathhead was entirely suppressed. The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1900, and to the Church of Scotland, as Ormiston St John's, in 1929. In 1936 Ormiston St John's joined with the congregation of Ormiston St Giles', under the name of Ormiston.
