Newtyle United Associate, United Presbyterian kirk session
A secession church court. It was founded in 1834 and its first and only minister was inducted and ordained in 1838. After his death in 1874 the decline in the congregation, which had first started after the founding of a Free Church charge in the parish in 1843, continued, and it was dissolved in 1880.
