New Deer kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Deer, later of Buchan, and the synod of Aberdeen. It was disjoined from Deer and erected as a separate parish in 1622. Part of the parish was removed in 1889 to form part of the quoad sacra parish of Maud, and another part of the parish was removed in 1853 to form part of the quoad sacra parish of New Pitsligo. It was sometimes know as Auchreddy.
