Nairn kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Nairn, later of Inverness, and the synod of Moray. The old church of Nairn, which was known anciently as Invernairn, and which held a dedication to St Ninian, was rebuilt in 1658 and again in 1808. Ministry of the session is recorded from 1567.
