Muckairn Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It began as an evangelical charge, which was already in existence by 1843, divided for a time between the ministers of Kilchrennan and of Ardchattan, which became a Free Church parish in 1844. In 1900 it became Muckairn United Free Church, and in 1929 it became Muckairn West Church of Scotland. In 1930 Muckairn West united with Muckairn parish.
