Ardchattan and Muckairn kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Lorn and the synod of Argyll. Prior to 1618, the parishes of Ardchattan and Muckairn were separate. In 1649 the parishes were severed again, but in 1661 the Act Rescissory repealed the disjunction and the two parishes were united. In 1846, the parish of Muckairn was disjoined quoad sacra from the parish of Ardchattan.
