Mouswald kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Lochmabon and the synod of Dumfries. In 1609 a union was formed by act of parliament between the parishes of Meikle Dalton, Little Dalton and Mouswald, but in 1633 Meikle Dalton and Little Dalton were again disjoined from Mouswald.
