Morebattle (Gateshaw) Associate, United Presbyterian, United Free kirk session
A secession church court. It began as an Antiburgher congregation. The congregation passed to the United Presbyterian Church in 1847, and to the United Free Church in 1900. In 1907 it was united with Morebattle St Aiden's United Free Church, under the name of Morebattle United Free The united congregation passed to the Church of Scotland, as Morebattle St Aidan's, in 1929. In 1952 it united with Morebattle St Lawrence, to form the session of Morebattle.
