A parish in the county of Perth. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). In 1891 the Boundary Commissioners made major changes to the parish boundaries, making the civil parish almost identical to the ecclesiastical (quoad sacra) parish of Logiealmod.
