Lochlee kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Brechin and the synod of Angus and Mearns. Prior to the reformation the church of Lochlee was dedicated to St Drostan. ministry is recorded from 1576. Lochlee and the parish of Lethnot were united together in 1618, however the two united parishes were later disjoined again in 1723.Records available
