Kilmorich kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Dunoon and the synod of Argyll. The old church of Kilmorich belonged to the Abbey of Inchaffrey and held a dedication to St Muireach. The parish was annexed into Lochgoilhead prior to the sixteenth century to form the quoad omnia parish of Lochgoilhead and Kilmorich. Kilmorich continued to have a separate kirk session (serving a mission church at Cairndow). Ministry of the united session is recorded from 1601.
