Legerwood kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Selkirk, later of Melrose, and from 1613, the presbytery of Earlston, and the synod of Merse and Teviotdale. Prior to the Reformation the church belonged to the Abbey of Paisley. Ministry is recorded from 1564.
