Roslin (quoad sacra) kirk session

A Church of Scotland quoad sacra parish. It sat within the presbytery of Dalkeith and the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale. Roslin was first founded as a collegiate church by William, Earl of Orkney in 1446 and was dedicated to St Mathew. A chapel of ease was later opened in 1827 and in 1834 it was erected as a parish quoad sacra. In 1863 it was disjoined from the parish of Lasswade and erected by the Court of Teinds.
