Knockbain kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Chanonry and the synod of Ross. Originally made up of two parishes, Kilmuir Wester and Suddy, which were united in 1756. The old parish church of Kilmuir-Wester, which had a dedication to St Mary, was removed from Kilmuir to Knockbain in 1762.
