A secession church court. It was founded in 1843 when the minister and a large number of the congregation came out of the parish church. The church and manse were built in 1844. A church hall was built in Tomintoul in 1896 on land granted by the Duke of Gordon. The congregation joined the Church of Scotland in 1929 as Kirkmichael Dalvrecht. In 1943 the Dalvrecht section united with Kirkmichael St Michael's and the Tomintoul section with Tomintoul.
