Kirkden kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Forfar and the synod of Angus of Mearns. The church of Kirkden was dedicated by Bishop de Bernham in 1243 to St Malrubh, and belonged to the Abbey of Arbroath. Ministry is recorded from 1567.Records available
