Kirkcudbright Associate, United Presbyterian kirk session

A secession church court. It began as an Associate (Burgher) Congregation in 1818. The congregation passed to the United Presbyterian Church in 1847, and to the United Free Church, as Kirkcudbright St Cuthbert's, in 1900. In 1914 Kirkcudbright St Cuthbert's was united with the congregation of Kirkcudbright St Mary's, under the name of Kirkcudbright United Free. The congregation passed to the Church of Scotland in 1929 as Kirkcudbright St Mary's.
