Kirkconnel kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Penpont, later of Dumfries, later of Dumfries and Kirkcudbright, and the synod of Dumfries. The old church of Kirkconnel existed prior to the reformation as a vicarage and held a dedication to St Conal. It was united with Sanquhar from 1680 until 1727.
