A Church of Scotland presbytery. It was in the synod of Fife and was formed in 1856 from parishes in the presbyteries of Perth, Auchterarder, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline. In 1929 itbecame part of the presbytery of Dunfermline and Kinross.
