Kingussie and Insh kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Abernethy and the synod of Moray. The parish church of Kingussie, which held a dedication to St Columba, formerly existed as a prebend of the Cathedral of Elgin and the session records ministry from 1567. In 1580 Kingussie was united with the old parish of Insh; however, this union was dissolved in 1869.
