Kilwinning United Secession, United Presbyterian kirk session
A secession church court. It had its origins in a United Secession congregation in 1821, which was formed when Kilwinning (Antiburgher) congregation refrained from joining the United Secession Church. The parish joined the United Presbyterian church in 1847 and appears to have united with the former Antiburgher congregation upon joining the United Free Church in 1900, as Kilwinning - Erskine (United Free), which joined the Church of Scotland in 1929.
