Kelso kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of presbytery of Kelso, later of Jedburgh and Kelso, later of Jedburgh, and the synod of Merse and Teviotdale. It originated as a pre-Reformation parish. The old church of Kelso was dedicated to St Mary and it belonged, prior to the reformation, to the Abbey of Kelso.
