Kelso Associate (Burgher), United Presbyterian kirk session
A secession church court. It began as an Associate Session congregation in 1739 and adhering to the Burgher party in 1747. The congregation passed to the United Secession Church in 1820, to the United Presbyterian Church in 1847, to the United Free Church, as Kelso - Trinity, in 1900, and to the Church of Scotland in 1929. In 1940 it was united with Kelso - North Church of Scotland to form Kelso - Trinity and North Church of Scotland.
