Inverness kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Inverness and the synod of Moray. Bona, which was the smallest parish in the county, was united to the parish of Inverness in 1618. The old church of Inverness, which was dedicated to St Columba, formerly belonged to the Abbey of Arbroath.
