St Kilda Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. The charge was a mission station of the Free Church, established in 1865, though the islanders had declared their adherence to the Free Church in 1846. It passed to the United Free church in 1900. The charge continued until the union with the Church of Scotland in 1929, but ceased to exist when all the remaining inhabitants of the island were evacuated in 1930.
