Chapelton Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It began as Chapelton Free Church in 1843. The charge was reduced to a preaching station in 1849 but sanction was restored in 1855. In 1929 it briefly became Chapelton North Church of Scotland, before uniting with Chapelton Old as Chapelton in 1930.
