Greenock - Nicholson Street United Presbyterian kirk session
A secession church court. It began as an Associate (Burgher) congregation in 1791. The congregation passed to the United Secession Church in 1820, and to the United Presbyterian Church in 1847. It then passed to the United Free Church, as Greenock Trinity, in 1900, and to the Church of Scotland in 1929.
