Gordon kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Earlston and the synod of Merse and Teviotdale. The church of Gordon was dedicated to St Michael by Bishop David de Bernham in 1242 and prior to the reformation it belonged to the Abbey of Kelso.
