Glenbervie kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of presbytery of Fordoun, later of Brechin and Fordoun, later of Angus and Mearns, and the synod of Angus and Mearns. It originated as a pre-reformation parish. Part of the parish was removed in 1872 to form part of the quoad sacra parish of Rickarton. The church of Glenbervie, which records ministry from 1560, was formerly a prebend of Brechin Cathedral and was dedicated to St Michael.
