Glasgow - Blythswood kirk session

A Church of Scotland quoad sacra parish. It sat within the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr, later Clydesdale. Blythswood Church, Glasgow, began with an independent chapel, built in 1849-1852 on the north side of Bath Street at Holland Street. The quoad sacra parish of Blythswood was disjoined in 1875 and terminated in 1920, following presentation to the court of teinds of a petition calling for union between the parishes of Blythswood and St Matthew's.
