Port Glasgow - Hamilton Free, United Free, Church of Scotland kirk session

A secession church court. It began as a Free Church in 1843, becoming known as Port Glasgow - Hamilton (Free) to distinguish it from the former Reformed Presbyterian charge of Port Glasgow - Newark (Free). The congregation passed to the United Free Church, as Port Glasgow - Hamilton, in 1900, and to the Church of Scotland in 1929. From 1958 it was known as Port Glasgow - Hamilton Bardrainney.
