Glasgow - Pollokshaws Burgher, United Presbyterian kirk session

A secession church court. It originated as an Associate Synod congregation in 1739. It became Pollokshaws Burgher Church in 1764, and later became Pollokshaws United Secession Church. The parish passed to the United Presbyterian Church in 1847 and to the United Free Church, as Pollokshaws Pollok, in 1900 and to the Church of Scotland, as Pollok, in 1929. It was dissolved in 1976.
