Glasgow - Whitevale United Presbyterian, United Free kirk session
A secession church court. It began in 1862 when Glasgow - Barrack Street (Independent Secession) were accepted to the United Presbyterian Church. After meeting in temporary premises a church was secured in Whitevale Street and the charge was erected as parish in 1878. It passed to the United Free Church in 1900 and to the Church of Scotland in 1929. The parish was dissolved in 1971, when it united with Glasgow - Bluevale to form Glasgow - Bluevale and Whitevale.
